Use of the website
The rules below apply to every visitor, whether you are reading a single comparison page or browsing the full library.
You may use this website for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to use the site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or interfere with any other party's use.
That includes leaving the site reachable and readable for others: no automated scraping that overloads our pages, no attempts to insert code, no copying of page structures into a competing index, and no rerouting of visitors away from licetradex.digital while they are reading. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the site complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including any rules that apply to the way your business collects and stores client data.
If a tool we describe requires a vendor account, the vendor's own terms apply alongside ours. Our terms only cover the reading and use of this site.
Content and informational purpose
The content on this website is provided for general information about small business management software. It is editorial material, not professional advice.
Nothing on this site constitutes accounting, tax, legal, payroll, or financial advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making decisions based on information published here. When we describe how a payroll tool handles filings, or how an accounting package records a sale, we are describing how the software is commonly used by small teams — not how your books, your tax position, or your contracts should be handled.
Comparisons are written to help you shortlist and to help you ask better questions of a vendor. Final terms, prices, feature availability and service levels come from the vendor you sign with, and those documents control your relationship with them.
Accuracy and changes
Software moves faster than pages
Features, pricing tiers, seat limits and integrations change frequently, and a screenshot-free comparison can fall behind within a quarter.
What we do not warrant
We do not warrant that any content is complete, accurate, or up to date at the time you read it. Verify current details with the vendor before you buy.
Editorial changes
We may modify, update, or remove content at any time without notice, including retiring a guide that no longer reflects how the tools work.
If you spot something that no longer matches what a vendor offers, tell us and we will look at it. Corrections that we can verify are the fastest route to a better page.
Intellectual property
The content, organization, and presentation of this website are owned by or licensed to LiceTradex Digital and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
What you may do
You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use. Sharing a link with a colleague who is choosing software is fine.
What needs permission
You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from site content without prior written permission.
This covers our written comparisons, our section structure, and the way tables and guides are arranged. To ask about reuse in a newsletter, course pack or internal training deck, write to [email protected] and describe how the material would be used.
Third-party names and links
Product names, company names, and trademarks referenced on this site belong to their respective owners. References are for identification and informational purposes and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
This site may link to third-party websites, vendor documentation, or pricing pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. A link is a pointer for your research, not a recommendation that a vendor's terms suit your business.
If you represent a vendor and believe a description of your product is inaccurate, contact us with the specific correction and a source we can check.
User submissions
If you submit a question, correction, or suggestion through the site, you grant us permission to use that submission to respond and to improve site content. You confirm that you have the right to submit the information.
We are not obligated to publish, respond to, or act on any submission. Please do not send confidential business records, client lists or account credentials through a general enquiry — a short description of what you are trying to do is enough for us to help.
A correction
Point to the page and the specific line that looks out of date, plus where the current detail comes from.
A suggestion
Tell us the job you are trying to run — quoting, scheduling, stock, payroll — and what is getting in the way.
A question
Ask about how a category works and we will answer with the trade-offs, or point you to the guide that covers it.
Where to send it
Use the contact page or email [email protected] during working hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Limitation of liability and indemnification
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, LiceTradex Digital is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or reliance on its content.
This includes, without limitation, decisions made about software purchases, vendor selection, or business operations based on information published here. If a comparison helped you choose a tool and the tool later disappointed you, that is a matter between you and the vendor.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LiceTradex Digital from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the site or your violation of these terms.
We may restrict or terminate access to the website at any time if we believe these terms have been violated, without notice.
Changes to these terms and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page, and continued use of the website constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in force.
The current version of this page was last reviewed in November 2026. When we change something that affects how you may use the site, we note it here rather than burying it in the body text.

Common questions about these terms
A few questions we expect from readers who want to reuse something, quote a comparison, or understand how the editorial work is funded.
Can I quote a comparison in my own newsletter?
Short quotations with a link back to the page are usually fine for commentary and review. Republishing a full comparison, or reusing our tables in a paid product, needs written permission first — email [email protected] and describe the use.
Do you sell the software you write about?
No. We publish editorial guides and comparisons. You sign up and pay the vendor directly, under the vendor's own terms. Our pages exist to help you work out which category of tool fits and what to check before you commit.
A price on your site is different from the vendor's page. Which is right?
The vendor's current pricing page is always the one that counts. Vendors adjust tiers, add-ons and per-seat rates often, and a published figure can go stale between edits. Treat our numbers as a starting point for budgeting and confirm before you sign.
What happens if these terms change after I have been using the site?
The updated version is posted on this page and continued use of the site counts as acceptance. If a change affects permissions you rely on, contact us and we can confirm how the current wording applies to your situation.
