Contact LiceTradex Digital

Questions, corrections, and topic suggestions all go to the same place. We're a small editorial team based in Austin, and we read every message that comes in. If you're reporting something wrong on a page, include the page name and what you expected to see — specific notes get resolved much faster than general ones.

  1. Read your note
  2. Check the page
  3. Verify the source
  4. Correct or answer
  5. Reply to you

How to reach us

Email is the most reliable way to reach us. You can also call during normal business hours, Central Time. We don't have a walk-in office, so please reach out by email or phone rather than visiting the address below.

Two people answer the inbox most days, and anything about a specific guide is passed to whoever wrote it. That's why a note naming the page gets a sharper reply than a general question — we can open the same page you're looking at.

What to include in your message

If you're asking about a specific tool, name it and describe your situation briefly: team size, what you sell, and which workflow is giving you trouble. That context makes a useful reply possible, because the right answer for a two-person shop is rarely the right answer for a twenty-person one.

For corrections, include the page name and the sentence or figure you think is wrong. If you have a source, even better — we check product details before we change anything, so a link or a screenshot of a current pricing page shortens the round trip.

  • The page name and what looked wrong
  • Team size and the workflow in question
  • A source link if you have one
  • The tools you already pay for

Questions we can't help with

Knowing the edges of what we cover saves you a wasted email. Two areas come up often enough to say plainly here.

Out of scope

Accounting, tax and legal advice

We don't provide accounting, tax, legal or payroll advice. For filing questions, compliance rules or payroll decisions you need a licensed professional who can see your actual situation — the rules differ by state, by entity type and by how your staff are classified.

Vendor territory

Your software account itself

We can't troubleshoot your account, and we can't see it. For login problems, billing issues or product bugs, contact the vendor's support directly — they're the only ones with access to your records, and they can escalate things we simply can't.

Purchases

Buying software through us

We're a comparison and guide site. Subscriptions, licences, refunds and renewals are handled entirely by the vendor you choose, under their own terms — so read their billing and cancellation terms before you commit to an annual plan.

Response times

We aim to reply within two business days. Volume varies, and detailed questions take longer than quick ones — a note about a specific pricing page often needs a check against the vendor's current terms before we answer.

If you haven't heard back in a week, send a follow-up. Messages occasionally land in spam, and a second note is more useful than wondering. Replying to your original message keeps the thread together.

Where your message goes

  1. 1 Your email arrives in one shared inbox, not a ticket queue.
  2. 2 Corrections are checked against the current product page before any edit.
  3. 3 Tool questions get an answer plus a link to the guide that covers it.
  4. 4 Topic suggestions go on a list we review when planning the next guides.

Topic suggestions and corrections

Suggest a topic

Tell us the problem behind the request

If there's a workflow you'd like covered, or a tool you think belongs in the comparison set, tell us why. Reader suggestions shape what we write next, and a concrete problem is easier to build a guide around than a category name.

For example: "How do small teams handle contractor payments alongside payroll" gives us a real workflow to research, compare tools against, and write about. "More accounting content" doesn't tell us which part of accounting is failing you.

Send us an email
Report an error

We'd rather fix a page than leave a wrong number up

We correct factual errors when we find them or when readers point them out. Software pricing and features change, so some pages drift out of date between updates. If you spot something stale, let us know and we'll check it against the current product details.

Quote the sentence or figure and name the page it sits on. If the vendor changed a plan, a limit or a feature, a link to their page is the fastest way for us to confirm it.

Where we are

Our mailing address is 4821 W 5th St, Austin, TX 78703. We don't have a walk-in office, so please reach out by email or phone rather than visiting — there's no one at the door to help you.

Post goes to the same address and reaches the desk that handles corrections and reader mail. If you're mailing something about a specific page, add the page name on the note so it can be routed without a back-and-forth.

Several questions we get are already answered on a page. These four cover most of what arrives in the inbox.

Can you tell me which tool is right for my business?

Not as a single answer, because it depends on what you sell, how many people touch a job, and which steps already work. What we can do is explain how each tool in the comparison set behaves in a workflow like yours, and which category usually comes first. Write with your team size and the workflow that's causing trouble, and the reply will point at specific pages rather than a general recommendation.

How quickly will I hear back?

We aim for two business days. Detailed questions take longer than quick ones because someone has to check the current product details before answering. If a week passes with nothing in your inbox, reply to your own message — it keeps the thread together and it's the fastest way back onto our screen.

Can I visit the Austin address?

Please don't — 4821 W 5th St is a mailing address for a small editorial team working remotely, and there is no reception or walk-in service there. Email or a phone call during Central Time business hours reaches us far more reliably than showing up.

Do you take payment for software or handle my subscription?

No. We don't sell software, process payments or manage subscriptions. Everything about pricing, billing, renewals and refunds sits with the vendor you buy from, under their own terms. If a plan has changed since we wrote about it, that's exactly the kind of correction worth sending us.

How we handle what you send

We use the information you send to respond to your message. We don't sell contact details, and we don't add you to a mailing list because you asked a question. There's no newsletter signup attached to this inbox — a note to us stays a note to us.

If your message leads to a correction on a page, we edit the page. We don't publish the names of readers who send corrections, and we don't quote correspondence without asking first.
